Workshop Goals

At these interactive workshops children will learn the importance of a healthy lunch and how it can help their performance at school.

Suitable for children in KS1 and KS2 these sessions are designed to encourage children to make informed choices when selecting the food that they have in their packed lunch.

They will get a chance to taste some new foods and find out some fun and novel ways of making their sandwich boxes more interesting.

Whats Included

Children will then take part in a challenge where they will select items from a variety of different breads, fillings, fruit, salads and healthy snacks to make a balanced meal . The winner will get to choose their favourite packed lunch and of course to eat it!

We work with groups of 30. These sessions are appropriate for parents to attend.

Children will be given a handy guide to a healthy packed lunch which contains a top tips section and also a recipe card and a suggested weekly meal planner.

Each session lasts an hour and will include a cooking demonstration and tastings.
